The Medtech Mercury Free MF-09 LED Blood Pressure Meter is one of its kind mercury-free sphygmomanometers. The device uses digital sensor technology to measure the pressure in the cuff with high accuracy.
The reading is shown using a vertical bright LED strip that replaces a mercury column. The device works with just 3 AA batteries, and its efficient dense coded chip makes it highly energy efficient.
This device works just like a normal sphygmomanometer, just with two added benefits:
It is mercury-free: The bright LED strip replaces the mercury and gives you the same accurate reading for doctors to take measurements using the Korotkoff method.
The device can be powered using a USB cable: No problem you have run out of batteries. You can always power the device using a USB cable that is included inside the box and have 0 interruptions in your work.
